Life is like a transaction taking place- with so many trade-offs. These few days has been rather busy and hectic. Can't wait to get over and done with for tomorrow. Feeling a little nervous for tomorrow's interview with RWS and yet on the same day, I have a Korean test too! :( I'm not sure which should I focus on more. Road Relay is just next weekend and I don't think I'm ready for the race yet. Gotta watch my diet during CNY, be consistent on my morning runs and more strength training. THIS IS THE LAST LAP, and the last time I'm gonna be crazy and take part in such an event again. THE FINAL PUSH is pretty scary 'cos the moment you give it all, there is no more turning back. You just endure till the end, and it's gonna be like that even on the track. THAT CRAZY LAST LAP where you just sprint to the finishing line because the end is so near. The past few days of matches left a bitter-sweet feeling for me. I learnt the importance of team dynamics and...

Gonna type this in 1 minute.... LETS GO! The past few days were filled with endless competitions and my piling workload. But I'm thankful for everyone who has given me the opportunity and believing in me. I hope I didn't let anyone down. If I have to sum up yesterday's netball game, it would be this picture below. Quarterfinals for NETBALL today!!! LEGGO💪💪💪

The weekend was really hectic I could hardly breathe. And yet, the upcoming busy week looks equally daunting as well. Track Finals was held on Sat in which it took up my whole morning but I would say, it left a huge impact and memory for many years to come because I experienced the true meaning of fighting spirit. Being the last runner of the 4x400m event, there was tremendous pressure on me because firstly, I didn't really liked being the last runner and secondly, I was supposed to overtake someone. While we didnt start off well during the event, as I took off with the baton being the last runner, all that came to my mind was to finish the race and at least, shorten the gap. Never did I expect after 300m, i managed to catch up with this runner and it was really challenging to overtake her because I was pretty tired at the end. Naturally, she sped up as well but this little voice in me told me to overtake her. And yes, I looked like I was in pain and thankfully I managed to overta...

Survived the 1st month of 2016!

They always say that good things come in pairs. I guess its quite true. I finally kept in touch with my old friend and was so glad that he's doing well right now! :) And also, I actually received a few replies from a few companies (at least it's better than them not replying at all). I managed to secure an interview with Resorts World Sentosa. I hope I will be able to ace the interview this time round. Some mixed thoughts about interning there but I shall pass the interview first. Today I finally collected my Coffee Scented Candle. Recently, I have a fond for scented candles. It feels peaceful and rather relaxing. Maybe I should learn how to make one too. I saw some of the Ceffyl peeps and decided to join them in Badminton. My skills have declined but nonetheless, it was nice to meet them and catch up with them after being so caught up with work and competitions. Had Korean elective in the afternoon and finally learnt how to write my Korean name. The lessons are getting tough...

Time flies really fast as its nearing the end of January and Week 3 of school. IHG hasn't ended yet and me, being a terrible procrastinator, have not yet started on my projects. 3 projects to start on and I can't even get myself to do it. Sighpie. I need someone to scold me OMG. And I forgot I have a tour to conduct on Sunday (Please do check us out on Singapore Footprints)! :D  Regretably, I should have went to seek treatment for my feet the other time I injured it. Now, the pain keeps coming back after trainings or competitions. Am I growing old soon? :( Just ended track training at 12am. Yes, it was really tiring but I enjoyed that sense of satisfaction when completing the runs despite being so physically drained. I hope things will turn out well this Sat and be able to break my personal record!  In less than 16 hours, Netball IHG against Hall 9 will commence and I'm pretty nervous right now. I saw the recorded video of the match and there's so much I can impr...

Found this really old song by Fei Lun Hai and just thought of sharing it because it was one of my favourite Taiwan drama OST! :)

Post-interview thoughts

Just ended my interview this morning. I left Hall too early and ended up being there 45 mins early. It was quite nerve-wrecking before the interview started and I was quite hungry by the time I reached the office :(. Things didn't turn out as what was expected and the department that I was interviewing for couldn't get the duty manager to interview in time and instead, I interviewed for another position in another department. [What went wrong: I stumbled on my words while trying to explain myself. And the answers I gave wasn't even what I wanted to say.] Yet, it was quite an enriching experience this morning despite things not going as planned. Through the interview, I learnt more about the hotel industry and how much hard work and patience is required to climb the corporate ladder. It is also stereotyped to be one of the lowest paying industry and of course, this had me sit back for a moment to re-think about whether I was going to stay in this industry for a long tim...
