i will always remember this date :]

yesterday was bbq day...
overall, it was quite fun except for the heavy rain in the late afternoon
Urghhhh!!!!!!
i was like all wet when i reach the chalet [ coats sands resort]

ok, let's get started wif the details...



5.00 waited for jac before me, yancy, jia xin, maisarah, shi sha headed out to the chalet
however, we got lost there and was stuck between escape theme park and pasir ris park


6.00 arrived at chalet.... lots of people were already there
we started walking around and talked wif the others
ok..... syafiq, hizan they were fooling around while we were watching tv
kinda offensive, but still a joke....
i will definitely miss all of them
(though they sometimes kinda racist)
pass around chips, sweets, snacks, drinks for everyone to eat before the 'main course' was served

7.00 watching tv- channel U
ate mee siam( they said it was mee siam, but it was actually bee hoon) XD
ate chicken nuggets, satay, marshmallow, otah
lots of drinks - coke, 7UP, F&N
lester laughed at us for watching channel U, 7 o'clock korean show
the guys were fighting over for Singapore Idol @ 8 pm

8.00 by then lots of people went to 2nd floor to play a game or something, leaving a few of us watching s'pore idol

8.30 we planned to leave
lots of people to stay but looking at the time, i think i shld be going home

 before we left we took lots of photos for each other, and for one another

danial said that after i left, some became arsonist, some were drinking wine.
but after 10, they were watching singapore idol like a family while some were sleeping
i wished i were there too
it would definitely a great feeling

some stayed over: ben, benedict, lester, jing cheng, hidayat, you yan
liang ying and zoe ( probably)

as i look back, my school life next year won't be like that anymore
bye 2/5'09, i'm so gonna miss you
keep in contact guys!

today, still have that chalet thing. but i won't be going cos of heavy rain.......... ;[

first day at NTU HALL 10- single room

Today is the first day I have officially moved in to stay at hall.... I'm feeling excited, sad and nervous yet at the same time. It's the first time I'm separated from my family(i mean physically), so I feel quite lonely. Yet, at the same time, I'm also looking forward to a fun hall life where I can meet new people and participate in new activities as well. However, the issue of having to earn points to continue to stay at hall stresses me out. I'm at NTU business, so I have only 3 years to complete my modules, instead of 4. Having to join hall activities, join committees etc means i have to plan my time very well. Nevertheless, I hope I will have a good stay at HALL 10 & I will be able to make lots of  new friends.   This is my single room - desk area and wardrobe are on this side of the room this is my bed I'm not sure on how to weigh the pros and cons of having single or double room, but it's really up to one's preferences.

Mid-week November thoughts

  It's been a while since I blogged and feeling a little down today, I've decided that I should pen down  my thoughts. Just realised I'm long overdue from my Chiang Mai Trip post so I shall do it up ASAP. Also, recently been back from Taiwan, and with all these memories still fresh in my mind, I shall do a separate write-up on the trip as well. Back to the reason why I decided to blog today, so many great things happened over the course of 4 months. Mostly great and awesome, but with the year ending soon, I am starting to feel a little sentimental, especially with all the great moments spent at work (ironically). Although my current internship has created so many fantastic memories to date, I can't help but lose a bit of steam with the recent spate of events. Now that Dec is approaching, it has finally dawned  upon me that I should start looking for a grad job, and start planning my school timetable... When the going gets tough, the tough gets going

[Post: 14 Jan] Today was a relatively good day! The day started off with me waking up to run and train my fitness. Sadly to say, my intervals timing was really bad and it didn't seemed to improve from the previous day! :( Nevertheless, I have decided that I will wake up early on later in the morning to go for another round of personal training. My goal is to hit 1min 20sec for 400m and maximum 11mins for 2.4km. Afterwards, I went to school and collected my textbooks and at the same time, I received good news. A hotel called me up for an interview for an internship. Although it kind of sounded like cheap labour, I guess it's better than nothing! I hope I will ace the interview and be offered an opportunity as an intern. And I still need to continue sending more emails for more opportunities, and also touch up on my resume and cover letter which kinda suck alot. Next I had Career Foundations II.
